A fantastic guest house, with a great host. Friendly, reasonably priced and complete with a great breakfast. The owner Martin clearly loves what he does, going out of his way to greet guests and makes the stay a great experience. Rooms are clean and well kept, with comfortable beds. Would highly recommend and am looking forward to staying again.

We stayed at Park Lodge last weekend. The owner, Martin, gave us an extremely warm welcome. The room was tastefully decorated and extremely clean, with a modern en-suite bathroom. We headed down for breakfast the next morning, to be greeted once again by Martin. The food was lovely. Fresh coffe, tea, a choice of fruit juices, crossiants, muffins, full English breakfast and more. The dining room apparently a very new addition is modern and light, with bi-folding doors on to the patio. It will be lovely in Summer. I can't rate this B&B highly enough and would happily go back.
A really clean, fresh and lovely plave to stay, the rooms are excellent with a lovely clean bathroom and really great power shower : Breakfast was in a gorgeously bright and sunny room with one of the best 'full english' that I think I've had, all done by the owner, Martin, who was really nice man. Will definitely stay here again, top marks!
For business and pleasure, I've stayed in many guest houses and B & B's over the years and this is the best one to date. The friendliness, professionalism, attention to detail and efficiency shown by the owner, Martin, was second to none. Really decent sized room with everything you'd need, comfortable bed, great breakfast, excellent shower, quiet, great nearby pub The Squirrel within 3-4 mins walk away...and more! Martin also went over and above my expectations by going out of his way very early in the morning, before I headed off to work, to mend my reading glasses after they fell apart. Without my glasses, the day would have been very challenging indeed...thank you Martin!!! Food & drinks: The Squirrel pub - friendly local pub with great classic pub dishes and a great selection of beers, ales whatever takes your fancy!!
Very friendly & helpful people, nice rooms with great breakfast area. Martin even let me do washing as I had to stay longer and only had limited clothes. Would highly recommend to anyone. Ed Hayden
Tiny but new and very clean toilet, soft and comfortable bed in a small and cozy bedroom. Just perfect for a good night sleep and a satisfactory morning breakfast

Good size room, en suite shower. Access to kitchen if you want it. Couple of shops nearby and a good pub The Squirrel jus up the road
