Called in on New Year's Eve for a quick drink with friends. Never been in before and found it to be a very nice place. Sadly the play area did let it down a bit. The kids loved it but it was tatty, worn and a the tables and chairs outside were grubby and old. That aside it was a lovely place and food looked very good. Would probably visit again and try the food.

This place seems to have gone down hill a bit since my last visit. The tables weren't very clean, and the menus were sticky from food residue (I Hope 😱) we had to wait 45 minutes for our food despite there being not many people in and when it arrived one of the dishes was cold. The food is bang average and overpriced unless you get the 2 for 1 offer. I wouldn't pay the prices they are charging if just ordering 1 meal, around the £10 mark. The staff are nice and friendly and the building is nice. Overall nice pub but overpriced food for the quality they are serving. Staff need to clean the tables properly and make sure menus are not covered in food.

Good food, service not up to scratch. Went in a large group (15 of us) for my husband's birthday tea. Placed 3 orders and part of one order never came. When I asked them, they said we hadn't ordered it and so I asked to order asap as everyone else was eating already. Turned out the till wouldn't accept the order as they stop serving steak sandwiches at 5pm and they had just failed to mention this when we HAD actually ordered the meal in the first place. Not exactly sure why they couldn't put a steak sandwich together when the rest of us had ordered steak anyway and my father in law requested bread and butter with his meal which they brought? 🤔

I stayed here for one night and slept like a log. I didn't use the bar or restaurant though but it looked fairly popular. The staff were good and it's a clean place that's priced well, I'd stay here again without hesitation.

Been several times. Has areas for families but also an adults area too if you like a little peace. Food and choices always excellent.
