It was a remarkable experience. Hosts are incredibly charm and always welcoming you warmly. We’ve had lovely small talks the evenings spent there. The food was quite good and the beers also!! If we ever come back to the hereabouts we know where to stay!
Visited this place over many years for their fantastic carvery. It was always well organised and with a brilliant chef, service and food. After today's visit I will never visit again. The table was booked and not ready, the carvery was diabolical and the place was way to busy for its own good. The choice of meats at the carvery was poor, the choice of veg was poor and cold. It was terrible and not a patch on how the carvery used to be. The beef was raw and the pork fatty. I can say the place has gone downhill. Such a shame as used to be fantastic. Avoid this place of you used to go and remember how it used to be. Another place that's now been ruined
Have had meals here before but never the carvery so my youngest suggested a visit. Yesterday was a bit hard as my father pased away this year and yesterday would have been his birthday so we needed a little cheering. What can I say. We were met by friendly staff and shown to our table. The kind waitress who looked after us saw that my mum was having a little difficulty walking so she took her order and arranged to have her plate actually brought to her which was a lovely touch. The carvery was excellent. All the meats were tasty and succulent and the guy actually doing the carvery was friendly and made sure whether I wanted well cooked beef rather than rare. A good selection of vegetables as well meant that my plate was piled high. And it tasted as good as my mums sunday roast sorry mum. Finished it off with homemade apple crumble with custard. From a value point of view I would certainly say, at least from our perspective, that it was good value at just over £22 per head. If I could I would give it 6 stars, and I would certainly highly recommend a visit.
Drove past right on 12 on a Sunday and couldn’t resist dropping is for a Sunday carvery lunch. Boy were we pleasantly surprised. Some of the friendliest staff who managed to squeeze us in at a last table as they were fully booked. Great sunday roast with various meat selections.
Love eating here. We had a Christmas family event for 8 and booked lunch. All the food was excellent, could not fault it at all. Service prefessional, friendly and courteous.Service: 5/5
We’ve come to the Evenhill a handful of times now, the food is always excellent and great value especially if you come for lunch or on one of the special nights and the people are so friendly and wonderful. It’s a great little place to visit and highly recommended by us!
Lovely meal with friends. We had starters and mains which were all presented beautifully. Wonderful staff - they are all so helpful and attentive.
Booked with a buy a gift voucher given to us, we had to pay a lil extra £65 to go there. We used voucher to go visit our daughter at uni. Staff where lovely all happy and did all they could to make us feel welcome. Breakfasts where lovely also. Rooms where large and comfortable beds. Wife was over the moon we had a bath as we don't have one at home so straight in she went. It was relaxed but have to say rooms could do with a lil update and tlc but was very clean. Dogs allowed, I'm guessing, as one in another room was barking at silly aclock in morning but we are animal lovers, so not an issue. Would recommend to anyon3 wanting to be near Canterbury but not in it. Thank you for having us

Not very great service we ordered drink and took about 45 minutes to come out. We ordered 2 starters to come out as a main and didn’t . We asked for 2 burger with no Sauce and they both came with sauce they told us food will be with us in 3 minutes and took another half hour when it came out everything we ordered was wrong wouldn’t recommend Food & drinks: Not very great service we ordered drink and took about 45 minutes to come out.
