I thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday roast. I had the beef roast and the portion was very generous with three thick cuts of meat, spot on vegetables and roasted potatoes and a big Yorkshire pudding, with plenty of gravy. They also have vegetarian and vegan options. The dessert menu looked amazing but I didn't have any because the roast was so satisfying. The staff was friendly and attentive.
Visited on spur of moment. Had spectacular lunch of venison sausages, mash & gravy that was like a food on its own. Will be back again! Real old school pub with character.

I had a lovely evening with a friend here. The burger we had was freshly made and tasty. The pub has an old english pub feel and wonderfully preserved. The ceilings are quite low there, but, I think it added to the charm. Food was delivered in good time, staff were very nice too. Great for a pub night with food, in a small Village pub with close friends.

Top notch food and service in a delightful garden setting. Sunday roast included nut roast option which came with first class trimmings including Yorkshire pudding. Brilliant!
