Love the Skylark Inn!!! Our favourite stop white riding Drake's Trail. The BBQ on August Bank Holiday was amazing, in the beer garden in gorgeous weather. The other half declared the rack of ribs the best he'd ever had and told me not to post any good reviews because he didn't want anyone else to know . I had the tuna steak which was also amazing. Victor and staff are the friendliest team you'll ever meet. And the chickens in the pens in the garden are gorgeous!
Really attentive staff . Good atmosphere. Dog friendly. And really nice food. Had a Sunday roast piping hot.
Absolutely delicious meal. I had pasta, superb. My friend had the surf 'm turf. It looked amazing. I had to have the ķnickerbocker glory as it brought back memories of an Italian ice cream parlour. Will definitely be visiting soon. Staff very friendly and helpful. Altogether a pleasant couple of hours
Booked a table for lunch with friends after a walk at Burrator. We all thought the staff were very welcoming and friendly, the food was excellent, and the Jail Ale delicious. Venison Burger special - so tasty, succulent, well seasoned - good size portions! Others in the party had Hunter's Chicken and Ham, Egg & Chips from the main menu and enjoyed them very much.
The best Sunday pub roast I have had!! They even had my husbands favourite dessert! Really friendly staff and our dogs were made very welcome as well! Can’t fault this place!
Great food and atmosphere, really accommodating staff as it was so busy. The food is all freshly made and good portions.. I love the chicken pasta, sadly, the prices have really increased but I guess that's due to how things are right now.

We’ve just experienced one of the nicest roast dinners. Family of four & we all agree. Free ice cream for the little one promised by the friendly Landlord . Amazing service Thank You
We ordered 3 roast beef dinners and one nut roast meal . We were served beautifully cooked fresh vegetables with enough meat to satisfy two big men . The nut roast was delicious too . The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble . Excellent value for money . A 5 star experience .
