Always a friendly welcome and effort made to provide a good experience at the Dining Rooms. There are two dining rooms, one an almost domestic-sized wood-panelled room and a larger, lighter space, both with features from the original (albeit quite different) historic buildings from which they have been converted. We have been offered to dine in the bar area when busy too, there are tables which lend themselves to a sit down meal although it can be a little noisy here. The menu is always interesting with good vegetarian options. This time we were there for Sunday lunch. Live music by way of an excellent acoustic guitar was performed in the bar area and provided a delightful background ambience. The menu is reasonably priced for Norwich and a discount of 10% is available to Cinema City (Picturehouse) members.The only downside is that the kitchen and dining areas are separared by possibly the draftiest stone passageway in East Anglia, if not Christendom. As such, plated hot dishes always seem to have had whatever the season blew at them for the 10 seconds during their journey from oven to table. Consequently, you'll not want to spend too long admiring the presentation before you launch forth. Have returned several times.

I had a birthday meal with my parents and wife last weekend. Not totally convinced by the extra room upstairs, felt a little like a classroom, but the food was glorious and the service impeccable. Very lovely staff and a nice wine selection.

Great for Sunday lunch, can sit in the bar or restaurant. Food is really good, great location. A hidden gem.
