Such a cosy spot with amazing food! My confit pork belly was absolutely lush and the calamari buttery soft. Staff were amazing and took off our desserts simply because they had to request we move seats, due to an unruly customer. Above and beyond, highly recommended
Really lovely find. Always been put off due to not liking Cafe Rouge that used to be situated in this building, which was wrong of us. Yes it's a chain but the staff are impeccable in both appearance and service. The tables are set up lovely, the menu is the perfect size, enough choice without making you think its all microwave and fryer friendly. The prices are suitable for everyone, yes you can spend a lot but you can also leave with a very reasonably priced meal, same with wine prices. The food was presented really nicely, some thought has gone in without being silly. The food was tasty and hot. The toilets smelt amazing and generally the whole place is very clean and well presented. We enjoyed a pre theatre meal without kids but I'd happily take the kids and we'll definitely visit again. The fish ate for a main was very tasty and filling. Kid-friendliness: There was a family sat next to us - once the delicate wine glasses are removed you'll be fine. For those that don't want to feed their kids nuggets Dietary restrictions: We were asked about dietary requirements when seated and again as order was take
Great service, great food, good wine recommendation to go with our fish. We had 3 courses plus 1 bottle of wine. Waitress checked for any food intolerance or allergy. Such a lovely day we sat outside but this restaurant also has a nice indoor atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Great pre theatre dining. Good service, good food. Clean restaurant with good covid protocols. Recommended. Card payments only. We booked and I'd advise to do so as you may be disappointed. Lovely evening. Love Cotes.
Whilst in a queue for a nearby brunch cafe we noticed Cote had a breakfast menu so stepped in. The coffees and food was gorgeous. We ordered a vegan breakfast and it was exquisitely made! All the items had so many flavours and you could tell the food was fresh. I would highly recommend. Also, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing. A great place for a brunch. Additionally, the price was not bad! Will be come again.
Had an amazing lunch. Steak cooked perfectly. Crème Brûlée was amazing. Great recommendation on wine. We went back the next week and tried the Strawberry and Elderflower Crème Brûlée... Perfection in a bowl!
Great French fine dining. Service is very good, food was excellent and atmosphere is great. Worth five stars.
Lovely venue. Lovely service. Just personal selfish sadness Made a special trip back as used to have a weekly crepe breakfast and it's no longer on the menu photo attached as waiter seemed to think they'd never done it. The croque monsieur I had instead was less tasty and - as untoasted on base was soggy and wet. Bring back the best crepe in Norfolk!
Lovely meal and really nice setting. Onion soup was outstanding. Really good value and a great meal. When asked about allergies, I was given a specific menu for gluten free - massively impressed as never seen that before. Service was excellent, really attentive staff.
I went last night after a long days cycling. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Made the evening so easy. The food is good and the so is the wine list. I’m a big fan of Cote for being consistently decent and this Norwich one cemented that feeling :-
