I just got home from having a lovely meal at the Last Wine bar. The service was excellent as always. Really friendly serving staff. The food was amazing. It seems to get better every time we visit. The portion sizes are good for the price and the food is beautifully presented. There was a special of venison which I had for my main course and it was amazing. It is the only restaurant I know that when trying food I can use a statement like "Oh my god these carrots are amazing!" I don't know how they do it but everything is perfectly cook with so much flavour. It is worth booking if you want to visit as they are always really busy.

At the moment probably the best and most consistent restaurant in the city! Very good menu, well cooked and presented, professional service and a choice of ambience. I prefer the cellar which is quieter and less pub like from upstairs. The menu is a mixture of quality dishes varying from steak to fish to game and poultry. The choice of wine is good and they serve draft beers. I'd recommend this place, but, be careful about parking your car around here, family members had their cars broken into whilst parked on Friar Quay: the road leading down to and along the river: but that's not to take anything away from this fine restaurant

Fantastic food (in good company it has to be said) at reasonable price. Place was busy so glad we got to sit downstairs. Would have got a 5 were it not for the over-enthusiastic air-con. machine. Will go back

One of, if not, my favourite restaurant in Norwich. Be it going for a few drinks or a meal, its got a great atmosphere and lovely staff. Very relaxed.
