Bee here a couple times. It's a shame to see a well known chefs restaurant to fail in service and food quality like this. The service was poor we was rushed in even though it was booked two weeks in advance. The starter was out quick, but was bland and not very nice. The main came soon after, my meal was a stake, I asked for med it came out nearly well done, it was chewy and horrible did not seem fresh, when I said a bout it, they said they where out of stake and would I have anything else, this was 7:30pm and they ran out... Staff was as I said I would not tip as the service wasn't pleasant we was rushed out not long after even though we didn't Finnish our drinks. Food quality was less than average and service was poor. But on the upside the restaurant was a nice place and looked clean and tidy. On two occasions have had same service here. Did not enjoy at all.

We were given a dining experience here as a gift. As we had a prepaid voucher the selection was from a reduced menu and rather limited. Overall the food quality was not very good and we didn't enjoy the experience very much. The waiting staff could not be faulted and drinks were nice - but chargeable on top of the voucher. Left the restaurant and soon after had slight stomach pains - may have been related to the food but not completely certain. Will not be returning and would not recommend this establishment.

Had a lovely meal here. We ordered starters and mains and they both arrived quickly. Is in a lovely setting and the staff are all friendly and polite. Couldn't fault anything and we both really enjoyed our food! Thank you guys

The staff are lovely and the setting is very nice. The food to be honest wasn't great. It wasn't awful but certainly not as I was expecting. I ordered a flash steak with a green salad and fancy mushroom sauce. The steak was lovely. The green salad consisted of two lettuce hearts with a dressing and the mushroom sauce was barely warm. For my son, I ordered a spaghetti bolognese from the child's menu. It arrived lukewarm with very little sauce and was crispy on top where it had been left under a heat lamp. My husband's pizza though was very nice and he enjoyed it immensely.

Asked for the steak well done - waiter said that as it's quite a thin steak it only came out as the chef makes it. Of course, my very shy sister had to embarrassingly send it back as was too bloody in the middle. Why? It was not busy - 6pm on a Friday - he could have told the chef! Very unhappy. Also, the lighting was very low and could hardly see our meals. The redeeming factor was the desserts. Will not be returning due to steak incident. Was expecting more from Jamie Oliver.
