We had a fantastic dinner here last night. Food was great. A fab selection of gins on offer. A tuck shop set up at the front of the pub as no local shop in the village. Great customer service we were well looked after during our visit. Highly recommended will be back when staying at the campsite again.

Had dinner antit was amazing pudding was even better this is the Guinness cake with white chocolate frostingit was sooooo good.female sanetry towels in bathroom. decently recommend

Used to be amazing. Booked at 730. Got there at 8 due to the m5 hold up. Lady came over and told us in a stroppy way that she would have to speak to the chef because they have a coach load of 18 people. She didn't make us feel welcome. Yes we were 30 minutes late but we wouldn't have ordered by then anyway. Very rude, ruined our night so we had our drinks and left. Young girl at the bar could see why we were unhappy. Last time I went with the previous owners it was rammed with people for good reason. Good food, good service, sad to say that's no longer the case on both parts. The food coming out was not what it was. Glory days are gone, never going back. Ended up at Greendale farm which was a breath of fresh air and it was service with a smile.

Such a lovely pub, the staff are soooo friendly & welcoming of both 2 legged & 4 legged customers! The food was fantastic: fish & chips gorgeous - light batter & fluffy chips - absolutely lush burger & lovely scampi. The dog biscuits went down well with doggo. Will definitely be back - can’t wait!

What can we say, stayed on the nearby campsite for 4 days & frequented this lovely establishment 3 times. On the last occasion we have both enjoyed exquisite Sunday roasts my wifes being the vegetarian option smaller sized portions also available they up there with the best we've ever had if you can manage it, have a pud as well as they're great & all at a reasonable price!! On each time of visiting the staff treated us as if we were local regulars. Would recommend the Food, surroundings & friendly welcome WITHOUT HESITATION. Try & get there if you can

Lovely cosy pub. Changes owners fairly often, current lot have created a lovely warm atmosphere with a menu of fairly priced standard pun grub. Great for warming up after a wet walk!

Beautiful village pub...clean & cosy, with a warm & friendly welcome. Lovely simple menu, offering delicious home cooked food at affordable prices. Very dog friendly too....we will definitely be regulars!

Visited in August.  Lovely country pub, good beers and fine food

Good beer. Phenomenal music 24 March 2023. Decent looking menu. Wish new owners every success.
