Amazing time with my husband Marco we are spend a lovely time in Royal Oak. High qualification work on the service plus always smiling and support with menu and drinks. Recommended for all, music on amazing level voice so you can talk. Amazing food and fresh cold beer. That from a chipper prices. Next visit? YES Super and very likely place.
Not dog friendly in the pub, but are able to sitting in the garden which does have a shelter. Food was poor, I had Lasagne and was unable to eat it. One lady on her own, trying to work the Kitchen and the bar.Food: 1/5
Having a coffee and football is on. They do 3 Sunday Roasts,small £5,medium £8.50 and large £13.95. The roast looks good,be rude not to try
Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express City Centre and this pub was a 5 minute walk away. Good choice of home cooked meals on the menu and good prices. The steak and Stilton pie was one of the best pies I've had. Others had the steak and lasagne and all enjoyed them. Good portion sizes too. Would recommend a lovely meal here
First time in this local pub for many years. Excellent home cooked Sunday roast quality at a good price, fresh veg and home made gravy, what's not to like. Friendly atmosphere all at a reasonable price.

not a family friendly environment where they let people use foul language around kids. and also the male owner is well known for being a racist. so if you’re not white or have kids i’d advice going to a different pub where you can enjoy yourself. i for one wouldnt dream of spending a penny here again.Food: 1/5
Sadie and the team were just fantastic, and went above and beyond to help us out with a breakfast party. Everyone thought the food was fantastic and those that had the vegan option said they’ve never had such a well crafted vegan breakfast before! Thanks so much, and see you again soon.
Great atmosphere, helpful and courteous staff, good ales, ciders and other drinks at reasonable pricing, right on the River Exe, close to the town and other amenities. Happy to recommendFood: 4/5
