The staff behaviour was extremely rude and felt insulting. A staff member came to our table and literally threw the food onto the table, placing it at the corner without any greeting, eye contact, or smile.nnAt first, we thought he was in a hurry and would return with the rest of our order, but after a minute we realised that this was simply poor service.nnThe food was okay and the ambience was fine, but the way customers are treated is unacceptable. I would rate the service -5. It was meant to be a day out for us, and we expected a much better dining experience.
Some lethargic members of staff in the team from the top down. Ale offer is at best average compaired to other witherspoon establishments and lacks attentiveness/care/even passion.nToilet facilities require investment/refresh.
Food, prives and service very good. The lack of one star is caused by bad smell in gentlemen's toilett. Visited 22/02/26
Popped in to have a nosey at its refurbishment. More lighting near the bar but not too bright. New carpet throughout with change of seating in some areas. Great gin selection. Nice outdoor space. Manager and staff very friendly and welcoming. Really like the new look.
Superb spoons breakfast was excellent .
