The club has recently been renamed "The Grange", the name of the house itself. Staffed entirely by volunteers, it is a sadly grossly underused social club, which is a terrible shame as it has much to offer. A warm welcome awaits visitors, & as it's situated next door to the Royal Liverpool Golf Club. Stunning views across the course's first fairway can be enjoyed towards the Dee & North Wales in the distance from the rear of the club. The club offers a function room which can be hired at a very reasonable cost for special events such as christening & wedding receptions, together with a beautiful interior including many items recovered from ships, as its original owner ran a shipping company. There are two curved interior doors reputed to have come from the Mauretania. All in all, well worth a visit if you're in the area, & if you're local worth considering joining, with membership only £25 per year.
