Now we have some sensible and nice people running the pub, this little wirral gem has been polished and rejuvenated to it's former glory. So glad the old misers of landlords have left... A breath of fresh crisp sea air in the place makes it great again! Ales kept well, decent gin selection and wine is good too (I'm told by the missus). Fab beer garden away from the main road and cars!

Great pub. Great atmosphere. Food is great too. If highly recommend visiting here for some good times with friends and family. Service from staff is excellent.

Friendly local pub in West Kirby which is now under new ownership. This is a traditional pub with wooden benches, stone floors and low ceilings. There’s a welcome lack of piped musak and you’re invited to talk to fellow drinkers. There’s no parking but if you’re drinking any of the real ales, that’s not an issue.

A remarkable old building thats 180+ yrs old. An ok selection of cask ales & the most impressive beer garden in Wirral 😊
