Great place to drink. Staff are great, along with the beer selection. The live music was pretty good too. Great location being only a 2 minute walk from the station.

A short walk from the train station, the West Kirby Tap is defiantly worth a visit. It has a rotating selection of 8 real ales and 3 craft beers as well as a selection of craft cans. I haven't eaten from the main menu, but the pork pies are excellent. The pub is dog friendly and locally produced dog biscuits are available at the bar. If beer isn't your thing a selection of wines are available as well as locally produced Wirral and Liverpool gins. Weekend evenings can get very busy, especially on live music nights. The staff, including the manageress, are friendly and welcoming and will sometimes chat if the bar isn't too busy. The pub is owned by Spitting Feathers brewery at Waverton near Chester and usually has one or two Spitting Feathers beers on as well as their guest selection.

What a quaint place to drink. All dogs invited so after a long walk along the coast pop in here and relax. Food and drink to enjoy.

Nice sharing platters, comfortable ambience and friendly helpful staff. Made us feel very welcome with our young spaniel.

A good pub at central place of west Kirby. All kind of drinks served. Nice place to spend weekend evening. Parking available nearby on road. Public restroom. Serve hard drinks also.
