Tufnell Park  £6.00 Keller Pils The Dartmouth Arms is located between Gospel Oak and Tufnell Park, on the borders of Hampstead Heath. The nearest Tube is Tufnell Park, it’s a ten minute walk to get here. This pub has been trading since 1862 and has been through its ups and downs over the years. In 2017, the pub was saved by local residents and is now listed as an Asset of Community Value. The Dartmouth Arms is now run by @disappearingdiningclub who also run Simon The Tanner in Bermondsey. This is a one bar pub that has a calming contemporary feel. The bar is a good size with traditional furniture, a centrally located servery and a bare boarded floor, the butcher’s block poser table is a cool feature. At the far end of the bar is a shelving unit packed with vinyl with a Disco and Jazz flavour. To left of the pub is an atmospheric cobbled courtyard with benches, tables and chairs. The beer selection will appeal to the Craft imbiber with a broad choice of beers from London breweries and further afield. I decided on a pint of Keller Pils, my pint was on point, cost was average. This pub also hosts regular Tap Takeovers, @twotribesbrew and @orbitbeers visited recently. The Gastro food menu is a well celebrated and focuses on sustainable, seasonal ingredients. Also, if you have a @city_stack beer mat a discount is available. We arrived just after 4pm on a sunny Saturday afternoon in May. There were a few different groups dotted around the pub, outside was busy and is where we decided to plot up. The service was great, we were served by a friendly member of the team who was funny and chatty. The pub has plenty to keep you entertained, on Fridays are Vinyl Sessions, Quiz on Tuesdays and BBQ’s at the weekend. Visiting The Dartmouth Arms was a very enjoyable experience. This pub has a great all-round offering which will please all different types of punters. This one is well worth a visit. ℹ Info correct on visiting 18.05.24
You as a business should be closed because the owner hasn’t got a clue what she is doing, she’s rude, sexiest and arrogant, avoid at all cost! The food is so bad, frozen, flavourless and the portion size wasn’t even amicable for a child, the venue have fallen so far from expectable, the owner should be ashamed! Ps. the glasses are so dirty that it’s shows you they have no pride in themselves or the Buisness! 0/10
Amazing place. The food was to die for and the atmosphere was great. Cozy fireplace table and the staff was very accommodating of my disability. Ian is such a lovely host going above and beyond with my party. I definitely recommend the place, either if you're looking for a quick drink,a special occasion or dinner with friends and family it checks all the boxes.
Very friendly staff with a good knowledge a the selection of beers on offer. Very tasty pints and food. Good tunes and atmosphere.Food: 5/5
Awesome hidden gem , run by some lovely people, who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Food was fantastic. Had 2 of the 3 course Sunday dinner - Roast beef with all the trimmings with salted caramel sticky pudding and ice cream for dessert. Also comes loaded with a vintage sound system with its own build diagram as a centre piece on the wall - which as a sound engineer I truly loved to see. Photo attached. Kid-friendliness: Loads of local families in for Sunday roast
Really good Sunday roast that is very filling and tasty. Pretty busy so make sure to book. The Sunday roast is mostly gluten free and they have a veggie option.
Great hidden gem. Food was great, wine selection was great, recommendations from the waiter were great, service overall was great, atmosphere was amazing. I was there with a group of 4 and 1 kid, on a Friday night, there was a DJ playing nice jazzy and soul music, just perfect background music. Loved every bit of it. Tried 3 different starters and two different mains. Food quality really good. And I am very picky, so it s not easy for me to find places like that. Polenta fries, oyster mushrooms and seabrass were my favorites.
The Sunday roast is fantastic, got to be one of the best ones I've had in London too! A hidden gem for sure, which is more north of the city. Peaceful! Excellent drink selection and for a Sunday the only downfall I would say is they don't serve tea or coffee which would have gone so well with the desert at the end. The staff were really nice and helpful It's a short walk from Tufnell Park underground station and also the perfect place to head over the Hampstead Heath Park. Solid A**** LDT x
Wonderful service and fun and friendly atmosphere. We got chatting to Michaela the manager who is doing a fantastic job with her staff team and making this pub warm and welcoming. Top spot. We'll be back.Food: 5/5
This is our favourite local pub for food. It never disappoints, and my father in law stayed in the wonderful rooms above. The staff stay year after year and are always welcoming and knowledgeable.Food: 5/5
