A truly beautiful hotel that will immediately put you in the mood of the city. The room is very good for the money. The staff is very polite and willing to help with information about the city thank you Stephen. Very quiet and beautiful area. And most importantly, the transport is just a minute's walk away.
While The Station Hotel is slightly outside of the city, it is fairly easy to get into the city in under 20 min via the train 3 min walk from hotel. It's what makes this clean, beautifully furnished and well kept accommodation a great option when visiting London. Only downside, the lighting in the bathroom wasn't the best and could benefit from more lights.
Another fantastic stay at the station hotel. This time we took up the offer of the winter retreat deal. The food was exceptional as per normal. First time we've had the fillet steak in the restaurant and both myself and my wife said that it was one of the best steaks we've had anywhere in the world. It is definitely a Hildenborough gem and we will be back soon.
Rooms are nice but we arrived in the evening and the cot we requested was not set up. There was also no bedding provided for the cot, even when we asked, and so we had to use a towel. Music and noise from the street was quite bad and in the morning breakfast took over 40 minutes to arrive. There were also no kid options. Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful but this hotel is not setup for kids.
Rooms: Accommodations were good. Had a difficult night of sleep given the poor sound proof. Could hear the next door and the street music. Service: Most disappointing factor in our short stay. Long waiting for food to be served. This happened during lunch and specially for breakfast, which we waited for half-hour before complaining and another 15 mins after for eggs benedict. Location: perfect for our need.
This gorgeous "Hotel" is more like a B&B than a hotel but nevertheless a cute little hotel. The staff were nice and welcoming. The first room that was offered to us was swarmed with lady birds and my friends has a phobia. Luckily the staff members switched us to another lovely room, filled with payable snacks and the usual teas and coffee tray. The only downside of the rooms were lighting - it was too deemed for our liking, especially in the bathroom. But the beds were clean and comfy, option of putting the heating on ourselves was a bonus and it's located 3mins walk to the train station and all other amenities around the hotel. I'll definitely recommend and return
£14 for a bit of hummus and some dried bread is a bit of a joke. This does not constitute a sharing plate for 2-3 people. When I said this was like a starter, the girl said ‘it kind of is’. Generally the staff in here and nice and it’s a decent pub but someone needs to sense check the vegan options with a full grown adult, not a pet rabbit.
Absolutely heavenly. You can drink at the pub, have a fancy meal, sleep in the room. A few stations from Waterloo.Rooms: 4/5
Daughters Baby Shower was held here as well as the rugby showing. Staff were attentive and relaxed. We had a great day. Family had 3 rooms booked for overnight stay also which they rated highly. So thank you to all of you working that day!
