Great to see this place still trading! Visited roughly a year ago. Same staff as last time although the decor has been trimmed back somewhat. A truly unique experience and a must visit for anyone spending time in Hebden Bridge.

Grim, grim, grim. Extremely rude and unfriendly owner. Seemed completely put out to have anyone staying there in fact. We compained about dirty bed linen and were met with a very cold reception, have no idea why people are in the hospitality industry if they hate customers. Had thumping techno coming through the floorboards and the place is dirty.

Friendly very clean and efficient. The staff r totally helpful and again friendly. Prices r average and the beer is perfect. Hard to get a decent pint but 10 out of 10 for quality xx defo recommend to go x

Stayed overnight and had a decent experience - rooms where good enough, if beginning to feel a bit on the tired side, breakfast was good and included. Not a place to go if you wanted to get a quiet early night as noise from the bar was very apparent in our room - I guess some will be better than others and it also wasn't a problem for us. It is quite expensive though, and that was the only real big negative for me.

We went to watch the football. They have BT Sports. It was good.
