Excellent place to stay, but sadly, we were only here for one night. Greeted by Tom, who was friendly, professional, and polite. He even offered to carry my wife's case to the room. The room was nicely decorated and had a great bathroom. There are some low beams in the room but plenty of signage, so I only banged my head once! We ate an evening dinner and breakfast, and these were really excellent. The young ladies in the restaurant were excellent. The atmosphere was good - a nice country pub/eatery.
I've visited twice now, during the week for lunch. I intended to try different dishes on the menu, but that fisherman's pie was so good that I had to check for consistency, lol. There's a '2 mains for £22' offer during the week, too. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. No wonder it's so popular.
One of my new favourite places to eat. Love this place. Very very tasty food. A nice selection on the menu, friendly staff, warm and welcoming. Homely feel. Reasonable priced too. Highly recommend coming here.
Absolutely stunning food. Portion sizes are good & filling. The puddings are a nice touch for afters, if you're wanting something sweet.nService is beyond good, they're such a lovely team who are warm, welcoming & always on the ball - so you won't be waiting ages, even when it's busy.nVery cosy atmosphere, it's a nice warm place to dine. Added bonus, you get to look out at a wonderful view whilst enjoying good food
The tim Taylor's beer is well kept and delicious. It's also a slightly cheaper pint at £4.55 than some of the other country pubs in the area. I've had a good Sunday dinner here, they serve huge portions of well cooked veg. They had vocation bread and butter ale for £3.50 which is excellent value. I really enjoyed sitting in the bar chatting with the locals, nice people, nice atmosphere. Will be going back.
