All of the team at Hebden Bridge Town Hall are amazing! They made our wedding just perfect! The food was great all of our guests complimented how nice the food was! And decent prices for the bar! The bar staff were great so friendly! And the support from Verity Amber Sam Ailsa to support us in making our special day run so smoothly we can’t thank them enough! We highly recommend this venue for your wedding! Gorgeous Venue, very picturesque and amazing staff!
Amazing, quaint little place with a variety of quirky independent shops and definitely some of the best tea in Yorkshire! Walked from the train station via the canal and park area; lovely 10 minutes stroll.
Visited Hebden Bridge for the first time yesterday with my family. We decided to travel by bus because the trains were on strike.nWas a lot cheaper because it only cost me and my son £5 with a day saver/all buses to travel there.nMy partner used his bus pass, and it cost him nothing.nWe got the 17 bus to Rochdale and then got the 590 to Hebden Bridge.nIt did take a bit to get there, and it was worth it.nIt was amazing, breathtaking, surrounded by the green hills, fresh clean air, and a bridge over the river Calder.nMany independent shops and market traders selling lots of different things from sweets to turkish lanterns and homemade crafts, including blankets, wooden benches, and mugs.nHad food in The White Swan, which was tasty and reasonably priced.nWill be going back soon and will also be walking around the beautiful park. I would highly recommend a visit.
I go every week for lunch, and it’s always delicious, homely food. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The staple menu changes every few months, and there’s a different soup and special every day. The crowd is also always interesting and diverse: families, book clubs, office workers wfh, older and younger people. There’s a lovely terrace, and also indoor space. Accessible for people with limited mobility and wheelchair users.
Beautiful hebden bridge, a charming little village / town, hebden is one of many little towns and Yorkshire about 40 minutes outside of Leeds. Train fare from Leeds to hebden it's about,1.80, it has a little Market on Friday and Saturday, if you visit during the week there's a lovely cafe in the town hall. Probably the most difficult thing is parking, if you don't mind a 5-minute walk, you can park at the train station. During the summer they have rides on a canal barge.
