Congratulations - you found a gem of a place! We stayed a night in the Hill View room with its spacious en-suite, both lovely and clean and enjoyed a very comfortable night's sleep in the king-sized bed during February. Breakfast and hot drink facilities were provided in the room by way of kettle, toaster and fridge complete with milk, butter, orange juice, yoghurts, sliced cheese and ham. Various cereals, a bowl of fruit, bread and a variety of drink sachets were also provided. If there's something you would like to be provided for when you arrive, you only have to ask. The Old Chamber is a lovely building in a beautiful location overlooking Hebden, so would be great for walks. If you're driving there, it's best to arrive during daylight, as the road up to it's quite steep, narrow and cobbled, in places, but worth it when you get there. There was a space to park right outside the door. Julie very kindly gave us a lift down to the back of the railway, leaving us just a short walk into town, that evening. I enjoyed the peacefulness of the place and waking up to sheep walking past the bedroom window, however, my partner enjoyed being able to watch football on the tv in the room. The Old Chamber is a bit of a hidden gem as it was quite cheap, compared to a lot of places in Hebden, but doesn't appear on many sites. Would definitely recommend this place and hope to go back again this year.

A lovely overnight stay at Old Chamber B&B. Large room and en-suite and plenty of breakfast choices. In addition they have a Type 2 Electric Vehicle charge point which is available for customers to use, so well worth knowing about as there are few public EV points in that area without heading off to Halifax or the motorway. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Old Chamber (which is in beautiful stone farm buildings just outside Hebden Bridge) on New Year's Eve 2014. Our room was large, warm, clean and well appointed, with exposed beams and a super king size bed. There were also tall, effective bedside lamps (I like to read in bed, and bedside lamps that you can't actually read by are one of my betes noires). The large en-suite bathroom was equally well-equipped, spotlessly clean, fully tiled with quality fittings and a hot, powerful shower. Old Chamber do not provide a cooked breakfast, but there is a toaster, kettle, bread, tea, coffee and a refrigerator well-stocked with ham, cheese, preserves, yoghurt, fruit juices and milk, so we didn't go hungry. Julie and Mark are very friendly and were good enough to give us a lift into Hebden Bridge for our New Year's Eve entertainment. You can walk as it's only just over a mile, but wouldn't recommend it at night as the roads are quite steep, rough and unlit. There are plenty of taxis in Hebden Bridge and we took one for the return journey. We will definitely stay there again. Trevor and Jacqui
