Very clean and hospitable. Obviously a place to bring young children with their own play area. Visited at very short notice and had a table in the separate dining room although you can sit in the large open plan bar/lounge area. I had pate to start which had a very tasty accompaniment of relish and the welcome addition of a warm crusty roll. Main course was surf and turf which was well presented and tasted delicious. Too full for dessert but will come back again to try. Very friendly place and recommended

Great little find, we both had a 2 course lunch with drinks and every item had been prepared with care. Very reasonable prices from the lunch selection, I'd strongly recommend the mushroom Wellington.

First time I've been here in ages and I don't have enough good things to say about it. The food was fantastic, the highest I've had in a Welsh pub for a while and having a lovely, clean children's play area is a huge selling point. Nice atmosphere even when it was quiet.
