Great local pub. Nice selection of drinks which are all reasonably priced across the whole bar. A great choice of food, again at a reasonable price. Definitely recommend trying the chips! Though the menu does seem to be more basic now since the recent refit but the interior is now a lot fresher. The beer garden definitely has benefited from new tables and a kids play area.

Nice clean comfortable pub with a warm friendly atmosphere... staff friendly and helpful... wasn't very impressed with the food though..nether was the rest of my party..

Had Sunday lunch which as very tasty. Starters and desert were fantastic. Price was very reasonable - £11 for 3 courses! Only grumble is the service was VERY slow. It wasn't busy when we arrived and it took 25 minutes before someone took our order, and about the same time after clearing the table to take our desert order followed by what seemed like an age for the desert to arrive.
