Nice hotel in Wales,. Nice rooms, and clean. Location it's good. There is a beefeater restaurant next door. The breakfast, was good. Good choice of food to pick from. The WiFi is good, and included in the price, YouCan upgrade to fasten. If you want to visit the royal mint museum, it's a couple of minutes down the road as well.

At almost double the price of other surrounding hotels (and breakfast not included in the price unlike the others) this was my last choice of stay as all the others were fully booked (and not surprising with the price). Tv was tiny so viewing from across the room was pointless. Bed felt worn and bumpy. Was disappointed as i have stayed in a premier inn before and paid much less and had a very comfortable bed. The shower was spot on though, good pressure. Will travel further before staying here again .

Good location by the hospital - only a couple of minutes drive or you could walk there. I suspect it is handy for visitors of patients to stay at.

I dine here at least once a month. Be sure to ask for £5 menu when applicable. Booking advised on busy event evenings. More upmarket than say local Harvester.
