Lovely location and we have had good experiences here before but today whilst the food was great the service left a lot to be desired. We decided on the cooked dinner but the extra veg and gravy didn't arrive until we had nearly finished our meals! Our friends extra veg and gravy arrived with ours but it was cold by the time their food arrived... I am sure this isn't usual and hope the experience won't be repeated on our next visit...

Great country pub with amazing open fires and lovely garden. Fully enclosed so it's really safe for the kids. Menu is good classic pub food and was hot and tasty. Service was prompt and firendly. It's a hidden gem just off the dual carriageway but it's well worth the search.

The food was excellent...The 1 hour 5 minute wait for it to arrive was not so go - visited at 6pm on a Sunday.

Undercooked eggs and a stinking attitude from one of the waitresses, telling me the chef will be out soon to talk to me about my slimy, undercooked eggs. Meat was burned, garlic bread was inedible due to it being turned to charcoal and generally the food is ridiculously poor. Was made out to be in the wrong by the waitress as I complained about the food, she assured me the chef will talk to me when he's ready..? Seriously? Won't ever return
