La Luna's Award-Winning Restaurant in Talbot Green, near Cardiff South Wales have a fantastic reputation for superb food, excellent service and stylish decor and as one of South Wales’s best loved independent family run restaurants, La Luna adds to the variety of this unique area as the only brasserie in Rhondda Cynon Taff to be awarded an AA rosette for culinary excellence.

The inspiration behind the brasserie is proprietor and award winning chef Craig Brookes. For many years now his culinary flair, passion and dedication to his food means he has received numerous awards and recognition.

Love this place.......but not at a Xmas time, utter chaos ! noisy.. too many booked in and we were asked to leave our table after our meal, before drinks were finished. The food was as good as usual, sirloin steak was very chewy and potions were very small. I ordered bread and butter pudding for dessert which is usually delicious with a ice cream, last night it was half the potion I had a few weeks ago. Service was very abrupt it felt like.....eat up and move on ! Hence the very small gratuity ! We usually leave 20%but not last night !

Very impersonal staff, very small portions for the price. Food was cold and staff not bothered when complained. No ambience whatsoever. Pretencas without being able to deliver. Went out for a birthday very dissapointing..

Was it the red light district or was it some gangster paradise? I couldn't work it out between all the red lights and all the profanities about some women who got f#@/ing pregnant on the sound system, once I'd paid my 30 pounds for the tapas I was happy waiting for it to arrive sat at a high table with seats too small like a child chewing the edge waiting to be told off not really able to talk to my wife as she listened in horror wondering about the poor pregnant lady in the rap song , thank goodness the food arrived, I never had chicken cooked like that before but can I say it's was the driest chicken I've ever had, they should be proud, the rest of the food was ok although the nibbles came out with the meal and why we had tables with small seats I don't know, perhaps I should have complained but the music was to gangster and I was worried someone would fu#@ me up, I've never heard so much bad language in all my life! I don't really swear but that's all the music contained. Very disappointed

Great food, great staff and a relaxed atmosphere. We won't hesitate to come back. Perfect evening with family for my husband's birthday.

Beware. Drinks added to bill. Food poor quality and taste. Overpriced
