Fantastic gem of a pub with beautifully appointed rooms, the team have a real eye for detail in terms of how the place looks and feels. My wife loved the interior of rooms and pub, the food was excellent and Archie our dog made welcome to- great place to relax, walk and take a break - thank you for looking after us all so well - Mark
Christmas day. Very friendly. Crab starter really good, sirloin beef was wonderful, perfectly cooked, cauliflower cheese fantastic, chocolate sweet was really chocolatey but light as a feather. Wonderful meal.
My flight got cancelled because of a snow storm and there was no possible way for me to get there for the night I have booked. They just invoiced me for the whole amount without giving me the choice to reschedule for another day. Be aware of their cancellation policies. I would look for other places around.
After visiting Horsham we carried on down the A24 towards Worthing and stopped off at Dial Post, and to the Crown Inn for lunch. We had a very warm welcome, the log fires were very nice, and the beer followed by our lunch were excellent. We would like to thank the staff at the Crown Inn for making us welcome, and for our lunch, it was well worth the trip from Byfleet. From Ray, Rosemary, and our dog Susie Today the 8th February @12 noon.
mmm. Bit disappointed..Fair play was busy..but 2 time slots for lunch..12.15 first sitting..then 2.15 next. Had to wait over 30 mins for drink firstly...felt rushed..food was well cooked...but only just warm..cold plates...not good..shame really...Service: 1/5
A lovely pub. Good food. Good service and hood location. What more could you want?Service: 4/5
We went back following a not so great visit poor service but lovely food and it was a much better experience. The food was once again very good, and the service was greatly improved. Really pleased that the team sorted this out for us. It's a great country pub, we've previously stayed in the boutique B&B too which I can recommend. It is pricey for a B&B but the rooms are chic fantastic, well equipped and as it was an Anniversary celebration well worth splashing out on!
Home from home, fabulous room, everything you need, attention to detail was superb. My only complaint was I didn't know how to use the coffee machine. There was a kettle but no coffee only pods for machine. Lovely continental breakfast served in a hamper left by door
What a delightful discovery! Nestled away in Dial Post what a quaint name for a village!, the ambiance, the food and the service were all exceptional! A lovely little fire place where the dogs could dry off after a wet walk, the loin of lamb special was outstanding as was the home-made burger with sweet-potato fries. However, the pièce de résistance was the Assiette of Puddings for two - a delicious smorgasbord of sweet treats. Lastly, the staff were absolutely delightful - very attentive, engaging and personable. What a lovely setting!
Went for a birthday lunch. Super service. Great food. Really relaxing atmosphere. Nice and airy.Service: 5/5
