The food was lovely although we had to sit outside and I was really really cold I guess it would have been much nicer had it been warmer that evening. The picture is of a very pretty rose by our table
Lovely pub, relaxing atmosphere and friendly service. Tasty food and good selection of drinks. They have a good system for following the social distancing guidelines too so you can enjoy your time there safely.
Group of six is including late teenage daughters had a very good visit following a very scenic if hot walk that starts just across the road from the pub. Very friendly staff. Good basic pub food..gammon was very good. Very pleasant all round.
10/10 homemade desserts, lovely sun trap garden out back and benches out front. Low ceilings with exposed beams and huge fire place inside. Good selection of beers on tap. Right on downslink cycle route... gets v busy!
First time going to a pub. Only had drinks. Outside bar. Plenty of space between the tables. Would go again.
The Queens Head did all the take-away catering for a family birthday party on 4 June 2020. The food was fantastic including the vegan options and nothing was too much trouble. The new chef excelled himself! Highly recommended.
