On my weekend with the BPC I had an absolutely stunning scenery/view from my room! (22) The food was superb. The only downside was the 'very cold barn' (when the heaters went off due to a electricity failure) that the choir rehearsed in.  Lizette (a staff member) is an absolute credit to the team! The waiting staff were also pleasant and courteous. Can't wait for next year!!

The estate is the definition of idyllic. A truly wonderful place to take a break. You can't not come away refreshed.

Hotel and Conference facilities booked up months in advance. Run to minimise prices and provide comfortable accommodation for users. This means a slightly basic and bland aura which does not detract from enjoying the property and the area.

Walked around the grounds. Took pictures of the famous Grot and the waterfall. Walked through the Quiet Garden,past the Angel and around and down to the Grot with its window framing the fall perfectly. Tranquil, impressive and majestic!

I've been visiting Rydal Hall for more than 30 years for church weekends, training courses and retreats, and even held my wedding reception in the Bishop Bulley Barn, it's one of my favourite places in the world.  

It's in the most beautiful location, and the the community that run Rydal Hall are really friendly. 

Over the last few years a lot of money has been invested into Rydal Hall, which really shows, the rooms are really comfortable, and the food is excellent. But crucially Rydal Hall continues to retains it's distinctive Christian identity.
