"Grade II listed cowshed conversion offering high end self-catered holiday and corporate lets, 2-3 night weekends and “discounted” 4 night midweek stays Monday - Fridays.The space sleeps a maximum of 19 guests with 5 large double bedrooms in the main house and 1 double in “The Weekender” cottage next door. The elegantly designed, spacious bedrooms have en-suite bath/shower rooms and most offer additional sofa beds. 4 nights at the Cowsheds’s was not enough. A home truly made with love and attention to detail is second to none. Georgie immediately made us feel welcome upon arrival and let us have a tour around. Fresh brownies and champagne waiting for us on arrival which went down a treat! I can’t recommend this place enough, we are so glad we chose this place for us & our family of 17 to stay. It was not crowded at all with plenty of space to lose each other and the spacious bathrooms and beds were simply the best! Thankyou we will be back again Overall rating is 10/10 can’t fault the Cowsheds’s at all.
The best b&b I have ever stayed in. Staff is very polite and caring. Every time we would leave our beautifully designed room, the maid would tidy up every little thing. Also, I loved the Cowsheds Toiletries. After I used the shampoo and the conditioner, my hair was super soft and silky. The breakfast was always on time and made from the products from their farm. The owners are extremely nice, they let us use our room until 12pm as check out is by 10am. I recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a peaceful place as you will fall in love with it!
A fabulous place to stay! We recently spent a long weekend at The Cowsheds to celebrate an upcoming wedding. The setting was perfect and everyone was blown away by the accommodation and standard throughout. Huge bedrooms and bathrooms with luxurious roll top baths. Would highly recommend!
This was a heavenly stay. Everything was perfect! The location was ideal and it matched the charm of the English countryside. The room was impeccably done and all the details made us feel like we were home - but a much nicer home! The breakfast was delicious and the staff extremely kind and helpful. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
Whilst the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was adequate with nice toiletries the rest was uninspiring. Entrance to property requires navigating two large potholes Beware!!!! Host was not communicative at all Breakfast was poor and we felt rushed,as soon as cereal was finished main Breakfast was put in front of you. Won't be rushing back. Also Beware there is no privacy in rooms that face car parking everyone can see in to bedroom unless you have curtains permanently closed. On a positive note the room and bedding was spotless.
I stayed here with my family in March for three days and even though it was a very last minute booking booked on the day due to another cancellation we had everything was set up perfectly and Georgie was contactable for the whole time during our stay incase we needed anything. Overall lovely place to gather in with friends and family and lovely owners.
The Housekeeping let things down. Cups were never washed up. Under bed was dusty & with the hot weather an air conditioning unit was needed. Most of all we never met our Host everything was done through the phone we were never greeted, which my Husband & I thought was poor manners. Otherwise the quality of the rooms & the breakfast was first class. Just needs some tweaking to make a very comfortable stay.
Stayed here end of July whilst attending wedding in Malmesbury. Convenient location near to M4 but can't hear motorway. Beautiful rooms. Beautiful setting. Great finishing touches- coffee machines and fans in each room. Can't recommend highly enough!
1st class accommodation in a beautiful setting. Perfect for large groups. Can highly recommend Cowsheds. Rooms: Comfortable luxurious and Spacious every room had an en-suite with role top baths and walk in showers Nearby activities: Plenty of places to visit in the area Safety: Off road Parking and enclosed outside space.
Stopped for one night on business. Excellent b and b. Room was immaculate, nicely furnished and very quiet. Breakfast was excellent and gotta love the cake on arrival
