Welcomed by a lovely women called Jackie. Booked in quickly and showed to my room. The room was small but cozy and clean. It had a really nice smell. The en-suite was a decent size. The bed itself was slightly hard but was comfortable and warm. The only two issues I had were the shower wasn't very strong and that the hotel could be noisy at times, which is to be expected as it is also a pub. Checking out was a quick and easy process. I would stay again.

This place is held back only by it awful choice of beer. We're it to stock some better draughts it'd certainly be worth more. That said if you like gassy beers, like Carling you'd be well catered to. The prices in the chalk boards for their food is very reasonable and good variety, all within traditional pub choices. UPDATE: have been in since this review and with the increased footfall they have installed better beers.

Pleasant bar staff, good food at respectable prices. Currently a good choice of 'Real Ales'. The banter from some of the regulars is very amusing if not really PC !

Very affordable place, very friendly and great drinks! Food is delicious and served quickly too. I've been to all the pubs in Royal Wootton Bassett and this is by far my favourite.
