We had unfortunately broken down on the M4 motorway on the way home from a trip away, it was very late at night by the time the recovery truck picked us up and guided us to the premier inn car park. Todd was the lovely young man on the night shift and went above and beyond to compensate us, going out of his way to make a room up for the four of us and even giving us some complimentary chocolate and wine to calm our nerves! He's an absolute asset to your team and we could not be more thankful! The rest of the team was also very kind and helpful as well so Thank you all!
Noisy, dirty in need of an upgrade. Ignorant staff behind the front desk, one who said he would have my problem sorted for my arrival back to the hotel, the other who spent over fifteen minutes at 1.30am trying to get me a better room, failing. Then the same person tried to be clever in threatening me with security because I called him an idiot after the time he had wasted and the room he tried to give me. He was also very rude to a mother and child at around the same time. I would never recommend this place.
I have been staying here over the past week && I have had a lovely experience. All the staff have been very attentive, especially Rich who has gone above and beyond to make sure I’ve had an enjoyable stay. Thank you Rich! Rooms: 5/5
Amazing service from everyone we met from Lisa and Tan on reception to Ohrie in room cleaning. This lad is a true gent. Please don’t hide this kinda talent in rooms. Food & drinks: The Beefeater was great food. Lee on shift was a good laugh and made our experience all the better
Pretty good hotel, great location, much better than the western super mare hotel but unfortunately due to variability between hotels can't risk using the chain anymore. WiFi in one is great and is unusable in the next so useless as a business hotel.Rooms: 5/5
Rooms were damp. It was okay when we walked into the room as the cleaners left the windows open, but after going out in the evening and coming back, the damp was intense. We hadn't even showered or used the bathroom at that point. It was the same after coming back from breakfast. It was like you could eat the damp. You could feel it on the sheets and the towels, which were rock solid, by the way. We ended up showering when we got home because of this. Staff were not present much. You ring the bell, and they dont appear for a while. We tried to get extra condiments, and there were no tea bags. We tried to get a drink in the bar next door where breakfast is, which closed at 10pm. I mean, I didn't really have a great experience here. The worst was the damp. I always stay at Premier Inn but im going to try holiday inn next time as ive had a great stay at one of their hotels last week in Kent. Such a shame.
Great Hotel just off Junction 16 of the M4. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very comfortable with an amazing shower and hairdryer/mirror combo. Breakfast in the next door Beefeater was delicious and plenty of it. Would definitely recommend.Rooms: 5/5
Our car broke down and we were forced to get a room here in the early hours of the morning. We had our three year old daughter with us. I walked in and booked a room the receptionist was kind albeit unbelievably slow. We had specifically asked for a room with two beds, one for our daughter to sleep in. We finally made it up to our room only to find just a double bed. I went back down to ask for a new room but was then told the only other rooms they had were single beds. We then asked instead for a travel cot, the travel cot was broken and would not stay up. Without wanting to inconvenience ourselves any further we simply took the mattress from the travel cot, placed it into the corner and tried to make it more comfortable for her. Thinking this nightmare was over, we jumped into the double bed only to find a wet patch on my hand and upon further inspection was undeniably urine. As you can imagine, this was the final straw, we walked back down to the kind but albeit unbelievably slow receptionist and now awaiting a rescue vehicle at 1.17am. Would not recommend.
Excellent service when we turned up to the beefeater for breakfast without booking en-route to our holiday. Kirsty in particular was very attentive even getting a jug of water for our dog Hotel highlightsKid-friendly
