Great location for Swindon and the M4 for London and Bristol. Good sized rooms although it's a pull out sofa bed for kids, so not great if you have older children. Good breakfast and really nice, helpful reception staff. Room carpets could do with a clean but not horrendous or enough to prevent future stay. Overall good value for money.
Stayed 2 nights as was in driving distance to our day out. A good amount of free parking and a good buffet breakfast included. Room was large enough for 4 of us, and the bed settee was comfortable. It was still sunny when we stayed but if during colder nights, the room could be cold as the heating did not work. Location not suited if you don't get to by car. Rooms: Decent size. Air conditioning but heating not good. No wardrobe but hanging space provided. Ironing board and kettle with free tea and coffee. Toiletries supplied. Carpeted throughout.
Only stayed there as we were in town to visit my mother in law . The rooms are kinda small. Breakfast are very basic with bacon, scramble eggs , sausages and beans . And selection of fruits and some slice bread. Very basic so even though we stayed 4 nights we didn’t eat breakfast every day . Location is conveniently near the motorway and is only about 10 minutes drive to mother in law place and town .
Terrible sleep, very noisy guests. They finally settled down about 1pm. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was ok. Although near the motorway, no noise from the road could be heard.Rooms: 5/5
My family and I stayed here one evening on the way to our final destination. This budget-friendly hotel has a lot going for it. It is conveniently located on M4 and staffed by exceptional people. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. Not your average Holiday Inn Express meal. Note for Americans: The largest rooms are smaller than American standards. Staff were superb especially reception staff at check in. Travelling with dog the room allocated was ground floor at the end of a corridor and was quiet with no-one passing the door or window. Gift bag provided for the dog including poo bags, treats and a ball was a nice touch. The room was nice but the bed is on the small side compared to a premier inn and was very soft/bouncy which did affect our sleep. Dog was allowed to sit with us at the tables located on the hard floor area in tge restaurant. Free breakfast was a bonus and nice but not exceptional. Only significant issue we had was shortage of disabled parking 4 spaces though we managed to drop off bags then park further away. Rooms: Small room, but sofa was a nice addition. Usual tea coffee facilities. Shower on ground floor involved a step up but was otherwise ok. Accessible room on first floor with wetroom was good but no accessible rooms on ground floor which was a little dissappointing Food & drinks: Good breakfast selection and 24 hour room service available Noteworthy details: Staff were exceptionally helpful and made us feel looked after.
Close to the M4, nice and clean, not a huge room but all you need, great breakfast. Fair value for money. Enjoyed our stay Food & drinks: Great breakfast, other than they ran out of eggs!!
Everything was as expected - very nice and clean, beds were comfortable and air conditioning in room. Only downer was the dinner menu, it was limited, for instance don't expect to eat a steak as it's not on the menu. Breakfast is available but didn't have it this time.
