Nice local pub hidden in a quiet street of St John Wood. A good ambience with a peaceful garden. On the negative side, the prices. A G&T at £10.50 presented as "cocktail" because it had a slice of grapefruit! Overall 2 G&Ts 2 glasses of wine, a fish and chips and a cheeseburger for £82!!! Why? Food was but pricey. Service average.
Best roast pork I've had in quite sometime. They also have a fabulous wine list. The staff is lovely and the atmosphere is great. 5 stars! Thank you for a lovely Sunday lunch!
Excellent fish & chips, draught beers, and outside seating in a quaint residential area. Good service, too. A bit on the pricey side but that comes with the location.
Went here a few months back for a Sunday Roast and as you can see from the picture it was absolutely spot on!! Recently booked in for a group of us to go back from thanksgiving and can’t bloody wait. Really cool place, we sat outside as it was still warm enough… great staff.. and a decent size outside area.. the food is the real winner here.. loved every mouthful and great portions!!
Great staff with good energy. Friendly. Probably got the best gastro food I've had in London. Well done chef! Will def come back.
Lovely Sunday roast. The beef is good. The shoulder pork is quite fatty but tasty. Gravy is awesome and of cos Yorkshire pudding is a star. Good selection of beer. Skylight terrace is nice. Staffs are super friendly.
We were over in West London last night for an epic ThanksGiving Feast with a group of friends… and what a feast it was!! We only managed to get a few quick snaps before the servings spoons/forks, fingers and hands descended on the plates but you clearly see the food was cracking!! It was served up just like it would have been at home, help yourselves buffet style in the middle of the table and there was SOOOOO much food, it was incredible - fantastic value for money!! We ate in the conservatory area which was lovely, the staff were very polite and friendly and we all got on great!! Nothing was too much trouble and they genuinely seemed happy to have us there eating with them!! We will definitely be back here next year for more of the same with an even bigger group!! Our fave things: The creamed corn wow and the overall experience… just felt literally like you were in your own house only with fab service Roughly a ten minute walk from either Maida Vale or St Johns Wood tube stations
Such a charming pub in a quaint residential area, the conservatory seating is so nice with all the fairy lights and candles. Notches cuter than an average British pub : didn't have the food so can't say. The gin, aperol, Vermouth, prosecco cocktail was nice!
Highly recommend. One of the better sunday roasts I’ve had. Also a gluten free option available.
Went last Sunday and had the beef and again today and got the pork, definitely the best roast dinner I’ve had. Potato’s are crispy, apple sauce is next level, big portions of meat and the gravy is out of this world, worth every penny. Highly recommend!
