Great choice of drinks. Spacious. Cool. Love the neon lighting. Good location, close to the tube station. Friendly staff. Nuff' said
Came in for a quick drink and nibbles, great service and the calamari was one of the best I've ever had! Kudos to the team. Will 100% come in for a meal if the bites are this good.
Pub seating has been re fitted to give it a more cafe feel and less comfortable pub seating. They still do live music and food. Not a great selection of cider but good for beers. Comfortable outside covered seating and smoking area. Clean toilets. Recommended for local live music when avaliable. They also have football on TV. This pub has undergone a few changes internally over the years but it is still the North Star and will always have my patronage when I fancy a pint.
Unfortunately we didn't have the best experience here. Ordered some food and drinks via QR code to the table, however a lot of the menu items were not available and left us with a very limited choice. Ended up ordering some chicken tenders, fries and a couple of beers and after 20 min the food came, but still no drinks which we had to ask about. I guess going up to the bar and ordering there is quicker and more efficient than the table service option
Vibrant, modern pub with professional friendly service with live music too.And a nice name too!
Centrally located pub with nice decor. Good beers and tasty grubs served by friendly staff. Enjoyed every minute of the hour or so time when I was there.
The food was very tasty! Drinks reasonably priced! Overall good customer service! There is one thing I must mention that needs improving is some of the staff has hygiene issues
Terrible service and overpriced food and drink. Both the waiter and the bartender I talked to were very passive aggressive and rude. Drinks were very expensive >£6.50 for a pint and a burger was £12 with fries not included. To get fries was an extra £4. It was then announced that our table had been booked and that we had to leave before the match. If we had known that the table had been booked in advanced we wouldn’t have put up with the exorbitant prices. It was obvious they had waited to tell everyone that their tables were reserved after they had order food and drink so that they could get their money and kick them out. Pathetic.
Nice cosy pub however the manageress is the most rudist individual you'd ever care to meet. Rude to her staff. Rude to me a customer looks on drugs in the ways she carries on. We'll spend our money in other bars in Ealing
A request to the owners of this pub - pay attention to your security guard who loves Russia and discriminates against Ukrainians. Yesterday was a year since the start of Russia's active military aggression against Ukraine. Your security guard has repeatedly been rude to me before, but yesterday he did not allow me to enter the pub, although it was only 22.20 in the afternoon. At the same time, he laughed and mocked when he heard that I was from Ukraine, and said that he liked Russia. I don't think this should happen in London.
