Beautiful old bar lovely staff and atmosphere!!
The drinks and service were very good and quick, but the Victorian tile work on the walls, the pillars and up to the ceiling are so worth the visit!!!
Bar is stunning and have always been a regular here. Wont be visiting again as prices are absolutely scandalous. £7 for a double Gin and that's without the Mixer. A round of 2 double Gins and a pint of beer was £24.00. Stung once never stung again. A pity as I have always loved the place.
Excellent surroundings, the Victorian tiled interior is truly astounding. Really worth a visit if you like extraordinary spaces for a pint.
Partner ordered a ham and cheese toasty. No ham and bread was not toasted more like dried out. Only opened take away box on train so could not return but definitely will not return after this shambles. Staff appeared ok but clearly not on point.
one of the most beautiful pubs in a railway station in the uk. built for the old first class passengers it shows you how the other half used to live. Always quite busy by its nature but you can usually find a seat. Bar staff are great and plenty of screens to watch the football on
Stopped off just for a short period before travel. Lovely place, very ornate tiling. Very comfy. Great for a quick bite to eat or a casual drink. Nice friendly service from the staff.
