A friend recommended this pub. You find a table, go up to the bar and place your order and they’ll bring it to you. Quite a nice and cozy pub with some more seating places upstairs. I ordered the burger which was very juicy and tasty. Could have been slightly bigger in size but it was more than acceptable. Really enjoyed the taste.Food: 5/5
Really cool atmosphere. Very comfortable. History on the walls. I was here in the middle of the day and had a yardbird draft ale and their craft banana old fashioned. Really good on both. I dropped a star on food because they did not know what a gin Rickey is. I think they have younger staff early in the day and most likely have more qualified bartending in busier hours. Couple of young fellows were very congenial at the bar however so hopefully expanding their craft. Cheers.
My partner and I found this pub on Sloane Street as we were looking for a restaurant on Saturday afternoon. After checking out the menu outside, we decided to have our meal here. There were several people in the pub when we arrived, but we easily found an empty table. We ordered the chicken kiev. The wait until the food arrived was only about 10 mins. It was very tasty, and we felt it was homemade in their kitchen. We would happily return, next time we are in London.
I am absolutely thrilled with my experience! From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations in every possible way. The customer service was outstanding—prompt, professional, and genuinely caring about ensuring all my needs were met. They went above and beyond, making sure I was not only satisfied but truly happy with the results. The quality of the product/service was simply exceptional. Every detail was carefully considered, and it’s clear that a lot of thought and effort went into providing something of such high caliber. The craftsmanship or expertise, depending on the context is top-notch, far surpassing anything I’ve encountered elsewhere. I was particularly impressed with how seamless the entire process was. It felt like they truly understood what I was looking for and delivered it flawlessly. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellence really stood out. I can’t recommend them highly enough to anyone looking for this level of quality and service. It was an outstanding experience that I would rate even higher than five stars if I could. Thank you for delivering such a remarkable experience!
We’ve been wondering around and found this lovely pub on Sloan Street. Slightly annoying to pass trough the road works but it was worthy beautiful duck hash and the wine was chiles to perfection. Strongly recommended. Will definitely pop in while back in the areaFood: 5/5
Great place to grab a nice pint. Didn’t eat, but the menu looked great. If you’re in the area, pop in and relax a bit.Service: 5/5
Came here on a Wednesday afternoon at about 4pm. The restaurant was not busy but not empty either, it was relatively flowing. Right off the bat the bartender was very attentive and helpful and friendly. He poured our drinks and took our food order, and gave me a sample of a beer I wanted to try. I ordered an IPA and a cider for us to share, both were great. I also got a double Jameson on the rocks. He made my grandma a new espresso when hers was not hot enough. We only ordered chips and onion rings which were great! My cider spilt and the bartender poured me a new one and gave me paper towels to clean it up at my request since he didn't see the spill. The ambiance was good and rustic, lots of history in this building. Overall good experience and will come back.
Small looking from outside pub inside become quite spacious with plenty of sitting space. Decent prices were quite a shocker in pub placed on the street surrounded by "poshness" and lots of stores with overpriced items. Clean, helpful, and smiley staff.
Signature dishes, Slow cooked confit of Pork Belly, Gloucester Burger plus fish and chips were all lovely and delicious. Good fast service and not overly crowded. Great prices considering where it is placed.Food: 5/5
Good beers and very tasty food. Especially the fish & chips was really huge cozy and traditional. Had to wait a bit for the food 35min but would definitely come again.Food: 5/5
