We came here for a Sunday roast. They put the three of us in a table where it’s in the center of everyone pathway. My chair got consistent kicks from passersby and it doesn’t give you the nicest atmosphere. Food is ok but my lamb roast is like it’s the trimming of a nice lamb leg. bits and pieces here and there but it’s nice that they ask if you would like your lamb to be fully cooked. Beef roast only have pink or well done option so we opt for pink. Lucky it is to our liking but it might be too cooked for people that like it a bit rarer. Big portion of the chicken roast and there’s option for a whole chicken. Veggies are quite soggy but the potatoes are nice. Overall not the best and can be a lot better.
Everything is amazing only downside was the size. Could not have a chat with my partner, since it was so noisy inside. But otherwise it was perfect experience for a early meal Parking: Not much nearby. It’s definitely a walking friendly area though.
We chose this restaurant based on Tripadvisor reviews and were not disappointed. We each began with a glass or champagne which was delicious. My friend had 3 small plates - Figs and Goat cheese, bread, and soup. She loved all of them but couldn't eat but about ½ of the soup as it was so rich and plentiful. I had the fish and chip and it was a large portion and delicious. Loved the very upscale pub atmosphere - bustling and lively yet you could see everything as it is well lit, unlike many pubs. We put this on our list of ' must return to' places to eat when in London again
Cool pub and great vibes / atmosphere. Staff members are very friendly and welcoming. The food tastes good and is elevated in comparison to the usual pub food.Food: 5/5
Wonderful place near Harrods. Excellent food and dessert choice. The souschef is Italian and everything is tasty and perfectly prepared. The apple pie is not to be missed! Very welcoming staff and nice decor ambience.Food: 5/5
Really disappointed with the roast we had on Sunday. The starters were good but the roast and service were so poor. The vegetables were flavourless and basically raw including the potatoes, the yorkshires were overcooked and the gravy was watery. The staff were very neglectful and we ended the meal by getting the card machine shoved in our faces by a rude staff member. Such a shame as I’ve enjoyed roasts at The Orange before. The ladies loos were also disgusting with loo roll flowing out of bins and all over the floor in all loos - see pic
A wonderful place for a Sunday roast. Beautiful restaurant interior and in such a vibrant street! Excellent wine & service! The Angus beef roast was incredible - carrots, potatoes, green beans and broccoli sides divine! Yorkshire pudding was amazing. Can only recommend booking well in advance as it is very busy on a Sunday! Call for bookings smaller than the number they allow on the website. The restrooms are also neat and well kept.
ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! I did not expect the food to be this good, I dont have words. We had padrons, burrata, tartare and the terrine and then the lamb and haddock for main. It was fantastic! We had the crepe and mousse for desert which were great too but we were quite full at that point! Love this place
A great fish and chips! The beer was fresh! Very nice place. The table was a little bit uncomfortable for a big guy. Very friendly and polite staff! The waiter made a small mistake on our bill but she immediately accepted and reimbursed the difference!Food: 5/5
Very charming place and great service. A bit average on the food side - I had the vegetarian options which were not mind-blowing even the truffle fries felt soggy. The sticky toffee pudding on the other hand, was the one thing that delivered.
