Story

Bulls Head Ground is a cricket ground in Coventry, West Midlands. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1848, when Coventry played an All-England Eleven. It hosted its first first-class match in 1903, which was between Warwickshire and the Gentlemen of Philadelphia. From 1909 to 1919, the ground played host to 12 first-class matches. First-class cricket returned to the Bulls Head in 1990, and from 1990 to 1992 it hosted a further 3 first-class matches, the last of which was between Warwickshire and Middlesex.The ground has also hosted List-A matches, the first of which was between the Warwickshire Cricket Board and the Leicestershire Cricket Board in the 2001 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy. The ground has held 2 further List-A matches, between the Warwickshire Cricket Board and Leciestershire in the 2002 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy and between the Board and Herefordshire in the 1st round of the 2003 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy which was held in 2002.

The food here is amazing!! In my opinion, they have The BEST PUB FOOD in the whole of UK. The prices are very reasonable and staff are friendly too. I have tried various different types of food and every single dish exceeded my expectations!Food: 5/5
We used the pubs upstairs room for a family funeral wake. The buffet was fresh, varied and the hot food WAS hot, not lukewarm. Tea and coffee was help yourself, and drinks competitively priced. Staff were friendly and helpful. Can recommend.Food: 5/5
Great friendly staff - meal ready almost as soon as we sat down. Cooked to perfection to our requests. Not a lot you could improve on, bar the price : Parking: by the pub, normal free car park enclosed by wall Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair can come in - a little awkward through the front doors, but possible, and the staff have come out to help disabled people and are helpful
Need to do a lot better here. No food after 8pm. Cask beers on offer, but only Doom Bar available, which had gone off. I paid the extra for San Miguel,.which was good
I had the fish and chips. They didn't give me the sauce with my meal. They took quite a long time to bring our food out. Not much else to say really. Staff were helpful, I wouldn't describe them as friendly unfortunately. Parking: There is a car park, but at one entrance you have to cross the cycle lane, it's very difficult to seen if anyone is on the cycle lane, which means you have to stop in the middle of the road. Use the other entrance off the side road.

Ordered 2x mid rare steaks. One arrived mid well the other arrived blue. No seasoning at all on the steaks. The "sizzler" was able to be picked up by myself... Onions raw as they come. At least the bar staff knew the right mab procedures...Food: 1/5
Popped in unintentionally for a bite to eat with family. Nice atmosphere, relaxed feeling. Food was hit and miss. Main meals were just warm enough to eat. The onion barji's were very undercooked. Very cold and runny in the centre. All chips were luke warm. The food in general was OK, but could have been much better if delivered to the table HOT and properly cooked throughout. Puddings were generous servings, the waffle was actually hotter than the main meal. I would visit again but if food was to come out the same, I would definitely return the meals.
Food is the best, comes very quick and the staff are very friendly, we always go there to have a relaxing time.Food: 5/5
