Great Sunday Roast lunch!nVery enjoyable experience, not been here for some time.nThe Roasts were generous dishes and both the beef and chicken were very tasty.nThe kids' burger was also a great hit. Crab and sweetcorn fritters with sliced baguette proved a hit for a smaller plate option.nPortions were generous and we didn't have space for desserts.nWe enjoyed being seated in a quieter part of the eatery, as we had not booked ahead. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. Great staff presence and attention. A warm welcome and consistent standard of service throughout.nWell worth a visit and we will be sure to head there again soon.
Whilst here it was a warm welcome with a lively atmosphere, whilst here they were able to accommodate my food allergies and change things on the menu so i was able to eat. It would have been nice to have something off the desert menu but this isn’t a massive deal to me. The waitress was very chatty and had given us great service throughout the evening.
Lovely pub with great selection of drinks and food options. Food was brilliant - only one comment was one dish had a small portion but the staff were happy to add an extra side without issue. Overall top food and atmosphere!
We had a very warm welcome to The Brittania when we arrived for Sunday lunch.nThe food was delicious, the service fantastic. Our server was Cerys who looked after us very professionally. There is a great atmosphere at the restaurant and a feeling of care and attention. The manager came over at the end of our meal to see if we were satisfied. We will certainly return knowing that we will be acknowledged , have a good meal and good service. The Hartwood are very generous with rewards which means there is always an offer which helps a little way towards the bill. We would certainly recommend The Britannia. We thank all the staff for a very enjoyable Sunday lunch.
We had a truly unforgettable evening at the Britannia last night for a special birthday celebration with family and friends. The team went above and beyond to make it a perfect experience from start to finish.nnWe had a whole outdoor section to ourselves, which was beautifully set up and created a fantastic atmosphere. The ambience was warm, peaceful and ideal for a gathering.nnThe food was incredible. Every dish was fresh, flavoursome and beautifully presented. You could really tell the kitchen takes pride in what they do.nnThe service was equally impressive. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome throughout the night.nnCouldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate a big birthday. Highly recommend, 100%!
