Great Sunday Roast lunch!nVery enjoyable experience, not been here for some time.nThe Roasts were generous dishes and both the beef and chicken were very tasty.nThe kids' burger was also a great hit. Crab and sweetcorn fritters with sliced baguette proved a hit for a smaller plate option.nPortions were generous and we didn't have space for desserts.nWe enjoyed being seated in a quieter part of the eatery, as we had not booked ahead. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. Great staff presence and attention. A warm welcome and consistent standard of service throughout.nWell worth a visit and we will be sure to head there again soon.
Whilst here it was a warm welcome with a lively atmosphere, whilst here they were able to accommodate my food allergies and change things on the menu so i was able to eat. It would have been nice to have something off the desert menu but this isn’t a massive deal to me. The waitress was very chatty and had given us great service throughout the evening.
Great experience dining here. Food was lovely and tasty, and very healthy too! Dessert were amazing. Friendly staff.nDuring busy times the food can be a bit of a wait, but the atmosphere was lovely and made up for it. Pet friendly.
Lovely pub with great selection of drinks and food options. Food was brilliant - only one comment was one dish had a small portion but the staff were happy to add an extra side without issue. Overall top food and atmosphere!
I went to the Britannia for a Sunday roast with my family and had a lovely meal with amazing service from Grace. She was really helpful when we were asking about the menu and she made sure our food and drinks arrived in really good time despite the restaurant being almost full. Grace was very smiley and friendly and made our overall experience fabulous. The food was delicious and the chef was very accommodating with requests, we were really pleased with everything thank you!
