I was looking for a 1 night stay in Poole, and this came up as the cheapest in the area.nnPrior to arrival, I received an email with a link to fill in my details, to speed up the check-in.nnUpon arrival, found plenty of spaces in the car park, and free parking is a bonus.nnStaff were very friendly and helpful at check-in.nnThe room was clean and had everything I needed. It was also quiet, which meant I had a good night's sleep.nnI was emailed a link as well to check out, so was very easy.....selected a check out time on the link, and left the keys in a box on the way out.nnLocation is very good. Bus stop outside goes into Poole centre one way, or Bournemouth the other.nnWould definitely stay here again.
The pub was very quiet, which was perfect for us as we wanted a quick lunch. Staff very efficient and friendly. I was able to use my blue light discount which was a bonus. We had the turf and surf and mixed grill. Both were very good with steak cooked to exactly as we requested.
The staff are always very welcoming and friendly. As soon as we walked through the door a female member of staff caught our eye and came over to great us and to seat us. We asked if we could move tables and without hesitation we were told yes. We ordered our food and drinks at the bar with ease to another female member of staff, who also offered to bring over our drinks. Our food came out looking well presented and was very delicious. Mixed grill and a chicken tikka curry. This is why we love coming to the Shah were the staff are always friendly and the food is always tasty. Would highly recommend.
I always enjoy coming to the Shah of Persia pub in Poole, as they have a great selection of food and drinks and for affordable prices. Food, which their chef and other kitchen staff are preparing, is fresh and tasty. Their staff, in general, are hardworking, always very helpful, kind, and approachable. They always make sure that they deliver high quality of customer service.nnI would like to say a huge thank you to Millie, who has been looking after me multiple times, as I am a frequent customer here. Her friendly, kind, and highly approachable approach is always truly exceptional, and she always does her very best to help out with everything around the pub.nnHer colleague Carly is also hard working, doing her job thoroughly, has a good eye for detail, and makes sure everything is spotless.nnThe pub manager, Jonathan, is also very approachable and friendly, humble, and respectful towards customers. Making sure the pub is spotless.nnI very much enjoy coming here, as the whole atmosphere is very homely, relaxing and calming when it is not busy, and when it is busy, it is full of happy customers with a positive energy. I also appreciate that this pub is always clean and tidy, including bathrooms, which I believe is important, as I don't like unclean pubs.nnSo, for all the mentioned reasons and many more, I highly recommend this pub to everyone.
First time staying here and will most definitely be back. really reasonably priced rooms which were clean and comfortable! Staff were very welcoming on arrival and thought our stay.nnFood is really nice!nnBig ish car park - just about could fit a van
