"The Stanhope Street dispensary sits proudly as the cornerstone of Robert Cain’s original Mersey Brewery. The great man would be proud to know this old fashioned style pub sits within his very own ‘terracotta palace.’ So come in and raise a glass to the man and his vision."

Situated just on the corner of the Baltic markets front entrance, the brewery tap stands out for its relaxed atmosphere and fantastic cask ale selection. Its drinks are also great value considering its location and it’s a perfect spot for a quiet afternoon drink or a pre-drink before hitting the Baltic market or the jacaranda.Service: 5/5
Great pub it is the main heart of the Cains village , highly recommend it’s fantastic craft beer , live sports , just perfect for family / friends gatherings , can cater for all type of events ,activities , parties and let’s not forget its dog friendly.Service: 5/5

Good prices an atmosphere staff were really friendly an helpful was served by Rhiannon who I couldn’t fault at all!!
Nice interior. Smell good inside. Don't look about what windows advertising saying...that prices is before Brexit :.
Looks like a nice place but don't make an effort to go there. Since it's a bit out of the centre, I checked the opening hours to be sure it wouldn't be a wasted trip. So fortunately I knew it advance it closes unusually early 9pm But when I walked there from town, arriving just before 8pm, I was told they were going to close early. In 5 minutes. It really bothers me when that happens. I think it shows disrespect to customers to randomly change business hours. In my case, it was my last night in Liverpool and there were numerous places I wanted to experience but I chose this one because it was in the old brewery and looked interesting. But in the end it was just a 20 minute walk there and 20 minute walk back regretting my choice. One star review may be a bit harsh because if you are passing, and it's open then give it a go by all means. Might be a great experience for you. But for me, it was just an annoying waste of time.
Nice pub and nice staff but draught Cider had run out, I could understand that in a busy night but not a Thursday afternoon.
