The Belvedere Arms

Story

The Belvedere Hotel is a Grade two listed building in Liverpool's Georgian Quarter. Built circa 1836 on the site of an old pleasure gardens the pub takes it's name from the views over the farmland that surrounded Liverpool city centre in those days.
The Belvedere never was a hotel. It's just that putting hotel after your name in those days meant that you were a bit upmarket. Today the district is once again the heart of the renaissance of Liverpool as it reinvents itself again. Walk around and enjoy the architecture and the views in this special part of Liverpool, home to the best independent bars & restaurants in the city.
Here at the Belvedere we welcome both new visitors and the best that the world's brewers and distillers can create and it is always a pleasure to feature local brewers.
We are currently serving local craft ales through four hand pulls and regularly feature the best of our local microbrewers including Liverpool Organic, Liverpool Craft and Brimstage who all produce award winning ales. Never one's to say no to a challenge at The Belvedere we are getting excited about our "GinNasium". Here we intend to train our palettes and exercise our taste buds in the noble pursuit of a gintastic experience. Currently you can exercise on 18 different workouts. All good for the mental health and self of wellbeing.
The "GinNasium" is a magnificent melamine shelf (listing pending) full of the finest gins that Britain and other countries can provide. Served with the Belvedere's finest trimmings and accompanied by Fever Tree tonic the hours passby unnoticed, the conversation gets even more interesting and the your fellow imbibers more beautiful (Really!!). Alternatively, you still have an awesome tasting G&T that will change your life forever and you go home early your palette cleansed & refreshed... be honest now... which......????? Finally, for the drivers amongst us we also stock Krombacher alcohol free pilsner, remarkably tasty!
Also home to regular DJ performances by the inimitable Bernie Connor and others , pleasing your ears with fine musical selections and so much more..GET AMONGST IT..

Well worth seeking out if you like your classic, traditional pubs serving cracking cask ales. A perfect place to stop after exploring the historic Georgian quarter for a and a .Service: 5/5
I’ve always thought of this place as a great place for a pint but Tom made us 2 of the best cocktails weve ever had and we can’t wait to to back. Tom’s Spicy Margarita is exceptional! Great pies, pints , and cocktails.Food: 5/5
Don’t walk past! Pop in for a pint. Really nice little pub. The staff were so friendly and the locals always on hand to tell you a tale or two.Food: 5/5
A traditional old English pub, great real ale selection. Outside seating. Frequented by friendly locals and core of travelling visitors. One of the best.Service: 5/5
Lovely pub. Small, cozy and a true hidden gem! Part of the world famous Pirate Map Pub Crawl and one of the best in Liverpool. The pint of Budvar was superb and the glass it came in was I didn't have one this time, but in winter I'm fond of their awesome pork pies Also - VERY good, clean toilets
Fantastic hidden gem in Liverpool. Great atmosphere and the staff are really friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a pub to catch up with friends over a pint, I couldn't recommend it moreService: 5/5
Great little pub, one of the places that's if you know about it, then you know. Hidden away off Hope Street , it has a decent selection of ale and many worth a try I went for a pint of 'Release the Pressure from Nightjar Bew Co - very nice!. Now, it is a small pub, I usually visit in the summer when the weather is a bit better and can sit outside, however if you do get a seat, it's extremely cosy, and the atmosphere is usually very relaxed. Early afternoon your best bet if you just fancy a quite pint on your own. We'll worth a visit.
Small, traditional pub. A very decent selection of ales and cider. Split into two sections though bar to the right; seating to the left which affected the atmosphere a bit. Much cosier when we found room upstairs.
I stumbled across this cosy little gem as I was wondering around the Georgian Quarter waiting for a friend and I was in need of a pint and popped in here, the staff were friendly, it was quite quiet at the time I went in but didn't feel awkward and had a nice chat with the staff. Quality selection of real ales that weren't ridiculously priced. If you're in Liverpool check it out.
Characterful pub with an excellent selection of cask, keg and bottled beers. There's a great selection of spirits as well, delicious cold pies and lovely knowledgeable staffService: 5/5
