"Liverpool's Cavern Club is the cradle of British Pop Music. Impressively, 60 years after its foundation, it survives and thrives as a contemporary music venue.Through seven eventful decades, before, during and after The Beatles this legendary cellar has seen its share of setbacks yet has played a role in each epoch of music, from 1950s jazz to 21st century indie rock."

We went on a Sunday afternoon. Not as crowded as at night. Great bands and solo artists, lots of memorabilia and merchandise. Drinks were reasonably priced too. Definitely a must if you're in Liverpool.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo wait

Great pub! It's quite large and has two separate sections that have live entertainment. There are a lot of stairs, so be prepared to climb. There are photos on the walls of people who have played there. Staff is really friendly. Prices are reasonable. There is a £5 cover charge to enter.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo wait
Great way to spend the afternoon. Full of music memorabilia from the early 60s to the modern day. Sat listening to a couple of live acts whilst having a couple of beers. Great atmosphere and the history in this place just oozes into you. Well worth a visit for music fans....Visited onWeekday
The Cavern Club in Liverpool is a must-visit for any Beatles fan! The atmosphere is electric, with live music that really captures the spirit of the Fab Four. It's amazing to stand where they once performed and soak in the rich history of rock 'n' roll. Grab a drink, enjoy the tunes, and let the nostalgia wash over you—it's an unforgettable experience!
It was a lovely afternoon visit! I would recommend visiting the place early afternoon so you can get better seats as people tend to go over there around late afternoon to early evening. The bands/singers were amazing! We had so much fun and we can see that other people did too. If I’m in Liverpool again, I will be coming back to the Cavern Club.
I read a lot about people that visit historical places and they just don’t deliver the experience that visitors hope they would… I certainly can’t say that was the experience I had at The Cavern Club. Visiting in Winter, I’m sure it was less busy than usual - but my friend and I went on a Saturday afternoon, and I expected it to be WAY more hectic than it was. They’ve done an amazing jobs at anticipating the crowds, and they know how to make sure you have a memorable experience. Great band, quick and friendly service in terms of getting pints - to me, this was worth the trip.
Absolutely fantastic atmosphere. Live music on stage all the time you spend there we saw three acts in a period of about 2 hours everyone singing along to their favourite beatles songs and many others too. Totally recommend spending some time here just for the nostalgic buzz it creates. And all for a fiver, what a bargain.....
The Cavern has an excellent atmosphere. On a mug of cold Cavern beer got to listen to some wonderful music by budding musicians, including a 17-year-old teenager. Any time a Beatles song gets played from the iconic stage the whole pub sings along. Almost like a worship experience. You cannot be a Beatles fan and miss that. We received a free entry due to a previous Magical Mystery Tour bus trip earlier that day.
Amazing atmosphere. Great tourist attraction. Loved the live music there. Only £5 entry but amazing to see all the famous faces that had visited there. Surrounded by infamous liverpool historic sites including the Cilla Black Statue and the Wall of Fame.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
