Seems like a nice local, only stayed for 1 beer but the staff were friendly and the bar had a few old boys in it so I would imagine it's a quiet but friendly pub. The pub has some interesting military artifacts in pretty much every free space so plenty to look at or read. Good old open fires too. Only left as we visited on a Monday for something to eat and the menu was reduced to the bar menu on Mondays.

Wonderful evening for birthday treat, had the ribs! Which were excellent. Service was first rate, atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Would recommend highly, for any occasion.

A very nice Fuller's pub with friendly staff, and nice food. Some nights are deal nights such as all you can eat ribs. There're two full size fires in the L shaped bar, which at this time of year give a nice feel and atmosphere. You could also be lucky enough to be greeted by the two in house bulldogs who have a lovely temperament and are very friendly.
