Chris was our waiter/server and made us feel very comfortable with our 1st experience at Miller & Cater. We are new to eating steak and he gave us good guidance & advice to what Steak & how we should have it cooked to suit our taste.nThe steak as well as the rest of the food was amazing the beef dripping gravy was the cherry on the cake.nWas worth every penny & we will definitely go back. If you’re not been give a go even if steak isn’t your thing as I’m sure their other dishes will tickle your taste buds!
Chris was brilliant. Charismatic, knowledgeable and kind. He checked our understanding of steaks and explained the different types of cuts as it was my first time at miller and Carter. He helped advise which steak I might like best and I absolutely loved the sirloin 12 ounce steak. Thank you Chris for making us feel so comfortable during our meal and giving us the best, top-class experience. We will be coming back soon to try the deserts! Ps you’re the best bottle-popper in the BCP area, keep it up!
First time for us as a couple going to Miller & Carter Poole and I really must say how lovely it was. Very clean and very friendly first impressions on entering the restaurant. Shown to our table where it was pleasantly busy with happy looking customers. Our waiter Chris was very knowledgeable about the menu & extremely friendly & fun to talk with. Definitely would recommend & go back again hoping that Chris is working! although I’m sure the rest of the staff are just as nice & friendly too. Photo is of my dinner which was the 8oz Fillet Steak with Peppercorn sauce & seasoned fries.
We visited this restaurant during our holiday and were impressed by the great reviews online. I must say, they were spot on! We were served by Chris, who was an absolute gentleman. He was polite, very helpful, and incredibly friendly, all while wearing a big smile. He really made our experience wonderful. We loved this place and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience.
The whole experience was fantastic!nOur server Beatrix was attentive and answered all my questions regarding the food.nService was prompt and the meal itself was so delicious!nThe baked camembert for starter was definitely a two person portion as advertised, however the show stopper had to be the Angus fillet steak for main with the beef dripping sauce.nI have never had a steak here that wasn't cooked exactly as I asked and the sauce is to die for!nTopping off the night, our lovely waitress overheard we were celebrating and had the chocolate of our dessert spell congrats! A really lovely touch that just added to a brilliant night 10/10
