Ideally located close to Sandbanks Beach, Poole Harbour and Upton Country Park is the Holes Bay, which was built on the site of a former lighthouse. Very poor. Big open holes in ceiling of restaurant for nearly a fortnight. Building dust and installation dropping down. Very poor service is general.

Buffet breakfast, one adult pays and 2 kids eat free. What's not to like. Hot food cooked freshly. Only thing to be improved is the bottle neck always in the toaster area and options can be limited here as for some reason it's rarely topped up, especially if you arrive for a slightly later seating.

We love table table at Holes Bay, often going there for big family birthdays and they are always accommodating. I'd definitely recommend!

They took a reservation for 9 of us the week before Christmas and was given a fantastic table like the Prime Minister's cabinet table in its own alcove. Very impressed with the food, service and prices. Well worth a visit.
