I love this place! The meat pies are Amazzzzzzing! We’ve gone 2 times within our first week here in London.
Went there for dinner and had probably the best beef brisket pie ever. The beer was also very nice. Outstanding and very friendly service. Highly recommended pub.
I went in for lunch steak and ale pie with chips cabbage, peas and gravy Mmm I know chips and gravy but I am a northerner. Followed by coffee, sticky toffee pudding and ice cream. The landlady out and about chatting bar staff cheerful. A great lunch.
This used to be my favourite pub in the area but since my last visit it’s been totally remodelled and is now a hotel. Good food and nicely done but no longer a place for a drink. Tourists like it though.
