Architecturally stunning Grade-II listed pub not far from Gloucester Road Station. No cask beer on handpump when I visited! Plenty of outdoor seating some of it covered.Service: 4/5
What a wonderful pub. The decor is traditional and elegant. Sunday roast was delicious and abundant. Staff extremely friendly and so kind. Unique atmosphere with clientele from young to regulars that have been going there for 50yrs. I am really excited to check out the Theatre upstairs. And a bit of trivia, did you know playwright and author Maureen Duffy used to be a regular!
Staff was engaging and looked after us brilliantly. Bloody Marys were delicious. Sunday Roast was outstanding. Beautiful traditional pub. Overall, an exceptionally fab meal. Thank you!Food: 5/5
Stopped off for a quick pub lunch when I was early for a local appointment. I arrived just at the start of lunchtime and the pub was quiet. I wanted a quick bite so ordered from their sandwich menu and this consisted of the choice of several sandwiches/ wraps etc and a range of non alcoholic drinks. I ordered the Korean chicken wrap, which was very tasty and came with the choice of a side salad or fries. Friendly team Good food Prompt service Good value for money Highly recommended
We had such a great time here! The food was delicious and we had prompt service from a friendly staff. The show was ‘Beowulf and Grendel’ and we thoroughly enjoyed it! With simply the text from the first third of the epic poem, a single actor brought it to life. Thank you for a great evening!Food: 5/5
Fabulous mini theatre above the pub with beautiful décor and real ale below. Theatre is intimate and you won't miss a word.Service: 5/5
Hadn't been there for a few years and didn't know what to expect as I was catching up with a friend that I hadn't seen for 13 years. Lot's to talk about intervened by staff asking for our food order not intrusive. Good service and friendly staff and the food was...delicious. Get's really busy around 10pm. I would have given it 5* for atmosphere but unfortunately there were a few individuals that were unstable on their feet due to over consumption, otherwise it was a great night in Nice surroundings. I will add I have experience in the hospitality sector at the top end and the Drayton Arms was a winner for me. Check it out!
Nice enough place, but food portions didn't match the prices. Atmosphere was good when it was quiet, but even at a quarter full I found myself having to shout to be heard in conversation. Though maybe every pub is like that?Food: 3/5
Came in a couple of weeks ago with some friends, had amazing service from Ailish. Ate the fish and chips which was 10/10. Drinks nice and cold too! Will deffo come back in the futureFood: 5/5
A true gem of West London. The sunday roast sharing platters are incredibly good value. Great beer and wine too. And a theatre above too! Shhh! Keep it to yourself.
