About

Great British Gastro Pub

Story

Welcome to The Pembroke, Public House and Lounge, situated in the centre of Earl’s Court, on Old Brompton Road, minutes from Earls Court and West Brompton stations.

The Pembroke opens it's doors at 12'oclock Monday to Saturday. Sundays we're open for roasts and Bloody Mary’s and our infamous ‘Hangover Club’. We offer a relaxed and elegant backdrop for coffee, lunch, romantic dinner or group drinks every day of the week.

Recently fully refurbished this historic Public House offers an intimate dining room and open kitchen, vibrant bar featuring premium craft beers and Prosecco on tap. Upstairs is now a beautiful lounge bar boasting chesterfield sofa's, slouchy arm chairs and an 8ft projector screen, which will be used for cinema events, large sporting fixtures and classic comedy during our hangover club. Alongside the lounge, we also have Earls Court's best kept secret, our roof garden. The perfect, (and in our opinion the only) place to enjoy the best of the great British sun.

Our creative and passionate kitchen team put together seasonal menus every 4 weeks, with a focus on balance, seasonality and of course great British ingredients, showcased simply in our monthly changing menu. The bar stocks craft beers and ciders from the UK and US, with Prosecco on tap offering something a little more special.

Alongside hosting in-house events such as stand-up comedy, cinema evenings, wine tastings and breakfast clubs, The Pembroke is the perfect option for private events and functions, from sit down meals, canapés or secret cinemas. Our team will be able to put together the perfect evening for you.

Amazing flavour! So unexpected! I was in here for some leaving drinks in a Friday afternoon and I was more than peckish. The ordered the sirloin steak sandwich with a side of chips. It came to a total of £19.50. My mate had exactly the same. It took a while to come out, longer than we expected but when it did, it was well worth the wait. The steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare and the chips were amazing. The overall flavour was incredible and it was very filling. So pleased we ordered it. Well done chef! Pic doesn’t do it justice I’m afraid!
The wait staff was honest and helpful. The rooftop garden was decorated nicely and covered from the breeze. The food was also very good! Fish and chips and Chicken Kiev dinners.Food: 5/5
BRILL. Sorry for the bad photo of the burgers, I'm old school, I like to eat my food while it is hot... Not turn photographer or get the easel out and start sketching. I think you should just stop reading now and trust the star rating and go in. All five star and price was to. Staff in the picture also brill.Food: 5/5
THE BEST RIBS IN LONDON !!!!!! Just cannot explain how good the food is at this pub. Family of 4 with two children ages 7 &11 both thoroughly enjoyed their pizzas and ice cream. The ribs were amazing, so tasty!!! We also had a portion of the chicken wings and these also were a 10/10!! Prices were very reasonable too highly recommend, we will definitely be returning. The pub its self is very welcoming, and enjoyed watching the footy on the sofas up stairs after eating. A++++
I think we probably visited on an unfortunate evening, but there were only two main course options - fish and chips or burger. I chose the fish, which was decent but nothing special. On the plus side, the service was excellent. Our waiter was warm, friendly and explained the limitations of the menu clearly. Top marks!Food: 3/5
Stumbled upon this pub during a Sunday walk. Had one of the best roasts I’ve had in ages and the dessert was just as good. Staff were also so friendly. Will definitely return in the future!Food: 5/5
Was visiting the area due to the BBC Earth Experience and thankfully found The Pembroke - other local venues did not appeal, to be greeted by a wonderfully warm welcome from the friendly, efficient and very helpful staff, bar man. A good selection of "pub grub" was on offer that included veggie/vegan options, which was quickly served and very tasty. I'll definitely head back when next in the area.
Great pub nice atmosphere brilliant staff excellent serviceFood: 5/5
A nice, not too busy, small trad pub in Earls Court. The food was good. We had 2 small plates; Halumi and chicken tacos.Food: 5/5
Visiting from Canada and Stayed at a nearby hotel. Walked in every morning to say hello and have a pint. The staff were so kind and offered advice on things to go check out in the area. Had the baklava sampler one day and the fish and chips the next. Both were delicious.
